If there’s one thing we’re passionate about at Maui Resort Rentals, other than cultivating dream vacations, it’s supporting our local community. Whether it’s sponsoring surfers or the local little league team, we jump at any chance to create a positive community footprint. Recently, Maui Resort Rentals was given the opportunity to work with high school senior, Cailyn Omuro, on a commissioned piece of art for our Wailea office. Cailyn has been recognized numerous times for her unique style of painting. Most recently, she was selected as the winner of the US House of Representatives Artistic Discovery Contest. 

Cailyn was connected with us through an employee who is passionate about her budding art career. After discussing with the team, Cailyn created a few sketches that she felt would best represent our company, and our Wailea space. The team was immediately drawn to her sketch depicting a beautiful island mountainscape. After the image was selected, Cailyn began the process of bringing the painting to life. We are honored to have this beautiful piece in our space for years to come, as a symbol of local talent and community.
