Coconut Willie

We first met Willie at the Upcountry Maui Farmer's Market when we needed to acquire some fresh coconuts to make our famous Maui Resort Rentals fresh coconut smoothies. Willie is a local big wave surfer who earns his living by climbing the local coconut palm trees to remove the potentially hazardous coconuts. He then sells the coconuts at the local farmer's markets. We are happy to offer support to help him pursue his pro surfing dreams.

When Willie is not at work harvesting and selling coconuts, he can often be found in the lineup at Maui's best surf breaks, including the legendary Peahi, aka "Jaws' and the world-famous Honolua Bay.
